Assistance in developing local cultural traditions
Support in the development of local cultural traditions is provided by assisting traditional craftsmen, specifically by placing orders with them for sewing traditional garments and crafting musical instruments. These include, among other things, funding the renovation of the Einetkun national ensemble's equipment.
The support of GDK Baimskaya made possible another scientific expedition of the Institute of Archaeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences to the Pegtymel River, where the Pegtymel petroglyphs were discovered. These unique petroglyphs were made 2000 years ago and are the northernmost of their kind in Asia.
The Company supported the Murals Project in the Chukotka Autonomous Region. These artists have decorated the gable facades of residential buildings in three settlements. The mural arts reflect regional specifics, and some of them are based on Chukchi folk tales.
